No voltage on battery terminals

Post by palomino35 » November 30th, 2014, 11:41 pm

Repairing ipod digitizer/lcd on ipod touch 4th gen. Wouldn't power up. Found torn power/volume ribbon cable. Replaced same. Still won't power on with or without a charger. Measured bat terminals and without charger, voltage reads .46 volts. With charger attached, reads .57 volts. Dock port appears OK. I think if voltage were getting to the bat terminals, it might power up.
Anyone run into this type problem?

Did you try a new battery?
