I tried desoldering the battery pad on 3rd gen iPod touch 32g and the center pad broke loose. Best advice on how to fix this. Also one end pad is loose, what can I use to glue the pad back down? I can probably use small wire strand to fix center trace and just forget the old pad and solder to the top of the new battery and cover with tape. What a pain this has turned into. I have a pic of the board but can't attach it so if anyone wants to see it I can send it.

Tough to say without a pic of the damage. We can probably fix it but only with special tools. If you want to send it in you would be looking at around $50
