5th gen iPod won't charge

Post by jhune10_01 » October 30th, 2011, 6:54 am

I just replaced the battery of my 5th gen 30GB ipod video with a new one and it wouldn't charge after the battery drained. I know it's not the cable because I tried the cable that im using with another ipod(ipod nano) and it worked and i know there's nothing wrong with my computer either because I tried the ipod nano on it and it worked. please guys I need your help, what could be the problem?

you may have a faulty battery or it may be a problem with the mainboard. In any case if you would like us to look the unit over we can do so: http://www.rapidrepair.com/shop/ipod-re ... vices.html

could it really be the battery? it's brand new and it was working fine until it drained and could no longer be charged.
