iTunes Library from external drive to new computer

Help! I have almost 5,000 songs (20GB) saved on my external drive that is networked at my house. I have lost the functionality of the original computer with iTunes on it, so have downloaded iTunes 7 onto a new computer. How do I get my full music library from my networked external drive into iTunes on my new computer without copying all the music again?

If you didn't save the iTunes Music Library.xml and iTunes Library.itl files from your My Documents\My Music\iTunes folder than you will need to import the files into the library again.

5,000 songs isn't that many, click import and go eat dinner.

You dont neccesarily have to physically copy everything, you can just share it.
