Ipod Classic with SSD
I am interested in the possibility of a 6-7 gen Ipod Classic with a 128GB SSD instead of the hard drive. Is this possible? I've read various forums that suggest this may be possible if the SSD has a voltage of less than 3.3V and one on MacRumors that appears it may work if you stick to the "slim" models (not the "fat" 160GB model). With 128GB drives coming down tothe $200 mark, this looks possible. I'd love 256 but those drives are still like $600. Any confimation?

There are SSd drives that will work in your model but the drive you buy will likely be thinner so you will have to find a way to secure it inside the unit. I dont think there is any firm compatibility list though, check online?
