Dropped IPOD

Post by vampire0slayer » August 2nd, 2014, 8:28 pm

I have a 160 gig 6 gen Classic IPOD which does play video. I have had this IPOD for 7 years and I have sent it in to you guys to get a lifetime battery which is great. But I have new problem. I have dropped my Ipod and all I get is the apple screen, I hear clicking noise coming from it and then I get the RED X.
Now in reading about my Ipod I am sure I mess up the hard drive.

I have noticed that you guys can upgrade your HD to 240 which be awesome. But in read further about it it can be upgraded on 5 and 7 gen IPODS, But some of those post are old so I was wondering if I were to sent my IPOD in to you guys to fix my IPOD if I can get a 240gig drive in it? If not then I guess I will be send it in to get a new 160gig drive.

Your iPod will not accept the 240GB, you need to go with a 160GB or lower. You may be able to do an SSD as well.
