No response, no charge, no nothing

I love my old 120 Gb Zune. The battery ballooned up and pushed the case apart (with no apparent damage to anything else)... and the zune stopped doing anything..no charge, not come on, not anything. I replaced the battery thinking that would fix it... it didn't...it will not charge... I'm thinking its the ZIF cable......so I'm thinking about giving up and sending it in for diagnosis and repair.......How long can I keep this thing going...is it worth the cost.....Really if it's only going to work 6 months it's not worth it....it's had the hard drive replaced while on extended warrantee...and now it has a new battery... the case won't stay together but I can put a rubber band around it and it's okay with me. what do you think...can you refurbish zune 120 Gb so it'll last 4 more years???

Id send it in to be looked at. Doesnt sound like a ZIF cable as the unit would still power on... Let us take a look and we can take it from there! Any questions feel free to call in: 888.763.6637

I purchased a used 120gb Zune about a month ago. I recently dropped my Zune 120Gb from my top pocket after I bent over. It won't turn on or respond to anything, or charge. I was wondering if the hard drive could be damaged or possibly the battery because I only would get may be 8 or 9 hr. of playtime. I was thinking of replacing it (The Battery) before the mishap. I had it in a protective hard case. Could it be a Zif cable disconnect? . Love the music capacity.

Thanks in advance
