any friends got a zune, or a usb to ac adaptor, even try using your zune and connector and another computer to see if it will charge, if none of that works, battery it is

well it could be the battery or the harddrive by the sounds of things, have you listened to the harddrive as it boots up or is running, if its making abnormal noise chances are its the harddrive

sound the same as mine, which was a faulty hd, though i found the hd prices to be on the high side try looking for a faulty unit for your part or maybe a cheap recon

sounds like a clickwheel issue to me, its an easy swap if you use the guides provided. problem with teh zune 30 is the clickwheel connects on the rear of teh board and then bends round the mainboard to the clickwheel itself meaning slight misuse of the zune could cause the case to colide with the cl...

its difficult as the jack for the zune 30 is soldered in then covered with a clear coating, so all i can suggest is melt it clean it and resolder but its not easy trust me

sounds like a bad area of your hd to me, but after formatting was it still a case of the vids play and songs dont?

sounds like a loose connection in the battery, probably just loosened up during shipping, you could open it up by foollowing the guides on this site, r if youre uncomfortable with that fill in a request and send it in

sounds like broken connections on the mainboard to me, youu could try and bridge em with solder but unlikely it would work best to send it in for diagnostic, its free after all

if youve replaced the screen and it insnt cracked now, id try taking it back in to another branch to get a replacement you should get away with it

theres a list of hds on the store here, there was even a 120gb drive for a while, i think the sizes are 30 40 and 60 gb

personally id reccomend the installation method, as i belive you need a heat gun to seperate the glass from the casing, and then you need to rebond the new one, messy and hard work
