you could always tape the cable down and it would work! Easy cheap fix. Try this with your fingernail and apply pressure. It should work if you test.

All thats needed to mod would be a frame from the iPod Video. Simple as that. discard the classic frame and metal lcd backing and install ivue with video frame and your done!

Easy fix, all you need is a new headphone jack! They go bad all the time and we have replaced thousands.
