I recently replaced my wife's broken glass on her iPhone. After putting it back together I come to realize that the proximity sensor is not working. I've already ordered a new one and plan on replacing it. My question is, is there any instructions out there for this procedure? I've searched the web but can't seem to find any. Any help greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone here had purchased one from rapid repair because, I wanted to know the quality of the product. Is it like brand new, with no scratches, dust, scuffs, etc?

I bought the new I-phone 3g in Canada but travel alot to other countries, to try and avoid roaming charges would like to use sim from country where I am is the only way to jail break phone as don't really want to do that is there any other options?. Or is it okay to jail break phone what problems occur as I love the phone do you lose features???

My 3G is now a little over a year old, and the battery life ain't quite what it used to be, so I would like to have that replaced.

I also do not receive ANY EDGE reception. If I turn off 3G in the settings, it never gets and EDGE signal.

What would it cost to replace the battery, and fix the EDGE reception.

Would I be able to use the aluminum back/enclosure (from Iphone 2g) with the internals of my Iphone 3G? I just don't like the plastic case. Basically the enclosure of the iphone 2g with the insides of the IPHONE 3g.

Just took off my iPhone 3G screen and replaced the glass from a friends old one. Having major trouble replacing ribbon 3, for the earpiece speaker..

Any tips anyone?

Hi, when i switch on my 2g iphone i keep getting a message saying repair needed , iphone cannot make or receive calls. when i touch the info icon it tells me unknown IMEI and unknown ICCID. Is there anything i can do to repair this. went to apple store and was told the phone is 54 weeks old and the warranty ran out on week 52.......can i get this problem fixed....i miss my iphone!!!!
