Rapid Repair is Reputable, Trustworthy Digital Repair Service – Unlike Recently Charged Fraudulent Competitor
Nationally-Known Technology Repair Company Owner Expresses Outrage; Offers Customers 10% off April Services as Example of Customer-First Commitment
KALAMAZOO, Mich., March 26 /PRNewswire/ – Rapid Repair, the most well-known and reputable national online repair service for digital electronics, wants to set itself apart from its competitors – in more ways than one. The company not only strives to demonstrate quality, customer commitment and affordability in its services, it also wants to be sure it doesn’t get confused with a recently-nabbed Kalamazoo-based competitor who was caught ripping off not only its customers, but also Apple, Inc.
“Talk about biting the hand that feeds you,” said Aaron Vronko, CEO, co-founder and service manager of Rapid Repair. “Here at Rapid Repair, we work hard to make sure our customers are happy, because they make us successful. It is hard to believe that there is a locally-based competitor in the industry who would stoop to such a level and not only lie to customers, but also, in the process, rip off another company like Apple.”
The competitor, a supposed iPod repairman also based in Rapid Repair’s home of Kalamazoo, concocted a scheme whereby Shuffle model devices sent to him for repair were repaired for free by Apple under valid warranties. Using a list of valid warranty numbers for the audio players, the accused would enter the number when submitting a broken but out of warranty Shuffle to Apple, receive a replacement device in exchange, and then bill the customer for a “repair” of the Shuffle – to the tune of more than a half million dollars in profit. The “growing business” employed several people to help with the mailing and receiving the Shuffles. The scammer has been charged with fraud and money laundering, according to a report by the Boston Globe, and is cooperating with authorities.
By contrast, Rapid Repair is one of the longest-standing and most reputable outfits in the small electronics repair business. The company not only repairs and services iPods, Zune units and other devices, but also modifies them to look customized with colorful screens and faceplates. RapidRepair can fix devices with sound issues, liquid damage, hard drive problems and broken screens, by far the most common problem. The company also sells parts, accessories, and manuals, and includes professional installation of parts at no extra charge.
To reinforce customer trust and appreciation, Rapid Repair is offering customers 10% off all services in the month of April. Customers can simply log on to www.rapidrepair.com and use the Code april10.
